Getting to the polls on voting day just got easier.
Kamloops city council has agreed to offer free transit on Saturday, Nov. 15, which is general voting day for this year’s municipal election.
As part of the request by Kamloops Vote 50, a community group working to increase voter turnout, council has also agreed to extend HandiDART hours for the day for registered users.
