Kamloops receives $151,156 from 2014 Tim Hortons Brier

A total of $164,106.50 will be infused into the B.C. sporting community as a result of the Tim Hortons Brier, with $151,156 of that staying in the Tournament Capital.

The McArthur Island Curling Club will receive $20,967, while the Kamloops Curling Club will receive $43,822.50.

The Kamloops Sports Council will also benefit from the event, receiving $86,336.50, which will be used to promote communication, development, education and participation in sport in the greater Kamloops area.

Curl B.C. will receive $12,950.50.
