Deven Sideroff scored in the last second of the third period to force overtime and earn a point for the Kamloops Blazers against the hometown Everett Silvertips on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Everett won 3-2 in a shootout, with both of the Tips’ goals in the shootout coming from Kamloops products Carter Cochrane and Kevin Davis.
Josh Connolly fired a shot on net with time winding down in the third and Sideroff banged home the rebound.
Kamloops was down 2-0 heading into the third frame, but Mike Winther cued the comeback with a power-play goal at 11:54.
Carson Stadnyk and Ivan Nikolishin lit the lamp in the first period for the Silvertips, who went with Austin Lotz between the pipes.
Lotz made 30 saves in the victory.
Connor Ingram stopped 21 shots for the Blazers in a losing effort.
Kamloops (9-10-2-2) was doubled 4-2 by the Spokane Chiefs at Interior Savings Centre on Friday, Nov. 14.
The Blazers, winless in seven games, are hosting the Portland Winterhawks on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
