A Blind Bay man has been identified as the victim of a fatal snowmobile accident near Sicamous last week.
The BC Coroners Service has confirmed that David Mark Yule, 49, was driving a snowmobile on Owlhead Mountain, about 25 kilometres southeast of Sicamous, at about noon on Jan. 9 when his snowmobile went over a steep cliff.
Yule died in the crash.
The BC Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate his death.
Blind Bay is a small community on Shuswap Lake, between Chase and Salmon Arm.
