Three members of the Kamloops Martial Arts school won gold at the Shuswap Open in Salmon Arm.
Dominic Callet, 12, earned a first-place finish in patterns and a third-place finish in sparring; third-dan black belt Ben Desrochers, 18, won silver in patterns and placed fourth in sparring; and Owen Gallant, 10, won gold in sparring.
Master Robert Gill and the club will train throughout the summer at the Kamloops Christian School on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
