Twin Peaks kicks off July music at cafe

Twin Peaks is performing tomorrow night at The Art We Are.

The roots duo, consisting of Fort St. John natives Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt, is known for its catchy tunes.

Tickets are $5 at the door. The show, at 246 Victoria St., begins at 7 p.m.

The coffee shop will feature other live acts throughout July.

On July 11, The Dead Fibres, a three-piece band formed in Edmonton last year, will perform punk vocals and guitar riffs.

The band can be found on Facebook.

On July 18, B.C. singer-songwriter Tracy Lynn will perform folk-country music. Tickets are $10 for that show and more information about the artist can be found online at tracylynnmusic.com.

Finally, on July 25, Jay Alm — based out of Jackson Hole, Wyo. — will land at the cafe.

Attendees can expect a six and 12-string guitar, ukulele, mandolin and humorous travel writings. Tickets will be $5 at the door.
