The Kamloops Venom ended what was an incredible back-and-forth Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League final with a 15-14 victory the over hometown Vernon Tigers on Monday.
Kamloops won the best-of-five championship series 3-2 and will travel to Vancouver Island later this week for the provincial junior B lacrosse championship.
Kyle Pauwels was a force on Monday, scoring eight goals to pace the Venom to victory at Kal Tire Place.
