Quebec scored four in the first end and B.C. never caught up in Draw 4 at the Tim Hortons Brier in Kamloops on Sunday, March 2.
Skip Jean-Michel Menard and his team from La Belle Province posted a 7-4 victory, improving their record to 2-1.
The loss was the first of the tournament for B.C. skip John Morris, whose rink drops to 2-1.
The Interior Savings Centre crowd was quiet for most of the draw, with the exception coming when B.C. scored two in the sixth end, moving the score to 5-3 in favour of Quebec.
That was as close as the fan favourites would get.
B.C., which includes Kamloops product Jim Cotter, is back in action at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, playing Nova Scotia, which is still searching for its first win at 0-2.
