Jim Cotter came through in the clutch for B.C. at the Tim Hortons Brier on Sunday (March 2) at Interior Savings Centre.
With the last rock in the 10th end, the Kamloops product played a superb shot, scoring three to lift the host province to an 8-6 win over Nova Scotia.
B.C. moves to 3-1, having lost earlier Sunday to Quebec, which scored four in the first end and went on to win 7-4.
The rink skipped by John Morris again gave up four, this time in the second end against Nova Scotia, but battled back to post the victory.
Nova Scotia remains winless at 0-3. Manitoba is the only remaining unbeaten team at 4-0.
B.C. is back in action in Draw 7 on Monday, March 3. The first rock is slated to be thrown at 6:30 p.m. It’s the team’s only matchup of the day.
